Eching, August 2010 – Sachtler, a Vitec Group brand, will showcase the brand new Cine DSLR fluid head as well as the new ENG / EFP Video 18 S1 and Video 20 S1 fluid heads at the IBC 2010. In addition, the German designer of camera support products will present a new camera stabilizer system: the artemis Cine HD Pro for professional film production and digital cinematography.

The Cine DSLR is well suited for the professional use with DSLRs shooting HD Videos such as the Canon 5D Mark II or 7D. Sachtler´s 50 years focused entirely in the Video market believe it can bring real expertise and benefits to the DSLR user when making high quality. The Video 18 S1 and the Video 20 S1 are the latest models of the legendary Video 18 and Video 20 ENG / EFP heads. The most important technical details are that the fluid heads now have a 16-step counterbalance, and the Video 20 S1 has an expanded payload range. Both heads still provide the classic Sachtler Speedbalance Technology and a Touch & Go plate.

Next generation: artemis Cine HD Pro camera stabilizer system

In addition to the fluid heads, Sachtler will be introducing new innovations in its artemis camera stabilizer system: The exceptionally efficient artemis Cine HD Pro features modular construction, dual video processing as well as HiCap wiring. HotSwap technology provides an uninterrupted power supply when changing batteries. At the IBC, artemis systems will be available for testing during hands-on sessions at the Sachtler stand in hall 11. artemis developer Curt O. Schaller will answer technical questions.
