Eching, Germany, September 2006 – Sachtler’s new C III Pedestal is set to its European premiere at IBC 2006. A key reason why this pedestal stands out is the time it saves setting up. The fluid head is mounted in a matter of seconds, and the lifting column is quick and easy to fix to the dolly due to its excenter clamps. When the shooting is over it is just as quickly disassembled for transport.

The operator can check for correct air pressure in the column with a simple glance at the built-in pressure gauge, which is also very useful when the column is being air charged with the pump. Additional features of the new C III Pedestal include the exceptionally robust dolly and a steering ring.

The pedestal’s technical specifications and comfortable handling are largely similar to the existing, highly successful C II model. The C III Pedestal is available for delivery and is also available in a system package with the Video 15 SB fluid head and the Video 25 Plus FB.
