A highly-impressed jury recently awarded the Argentinian film El Otro (“The Other”) by Ariel Rotter two Silver Bears at the Internationalen Film Festival 2007 in Berlin. The awards were the Jury Grand Prize, awarded to the director himself, and the Best Actor award won by Julio Chávez.

A key member of the film crew was Argentinian camera operator, Peter Trivino. Despite a host of tricky shooting situations, he and his artemis Cine HD system sprang into action, delivering outstanding pictures for “El Otro”. For example, the Estacion Terminal de Liniers, the large central bus terminal in Buenos Aires, was one such difficult location. The producers were given permission to shoot for only two hours - too short to set up the equipment needed for a conventional set-based shoot. Peter came to the rescue with his artemis Cine HD system, filming all the scenes in less than two hours.
