The Vitec Group brand Sachtler is collaborating with local distributor Telemedia to establish a full service facility in Johannesburg throughout the world championship. The centre is being led by Christian Huber, sales and service support manager for Sachtler.

“The worldwide audience for the soccer world championship is estimated to be 25 billion viewers and with more than 30 camera positions at each match, it’s vital that customers can rely on our brands and receive a quick and efficient service to ensure the television coverage is perfect,” says Christian Huber. “Users can rest assured that full service support will be provided during office hours throughout the world championship. With so many professionals counting on Sachtler, we will be right there, and ready to help at a moment’s notice.”

The service centre will be open from 9 June - 11 July 2010 from 08h00 until 17h00. The centre will be located at Telemedia’s offices and workshop in Rivoni, Johannesburg and the contact number is +27 (0)11 803 3353.
