Photojournalist Rea La Greca and photographer Guenter Menn from Germany, started off towards Namibia in the middle of March. For a whole year the team will be traveling through Africa covering around 40,000 km with a motorbike. Sachtler is supporting their project “Wanderer between the worlds“ with the FSB 6 SL MCF tripod system, consisting of the FSB 6 fluid head, the Speed Lock® CF carbon fiber tripod and a middle spreader as well as the Reporter LED camera light and the FSB CELL. 

“The FSB 6 tripod system with Sachtler’s carbon fiber Speed Lock® CF impresses us with its combination of quick and easy handling as well as its light weight“, Rea La Greca said. “We will use Sachtler’s Reporter LED as a fill-in light for a Sony PMX EX1R. That way we can give the shots more brilliance and brightness depending on the lighting conditions. The FSB CELL battery is the ideal accessory for it.“

“In our shots we want to capture something which might not exist in this form any more: the traditional life of the Nomads. They are people wandering between tradition and modern life whose cultures are in the process of change.“
