Cine DSLR: Precise panning with HD DSLRs

With the Cine DSLR, Sachtler offers professional photographers and filmmakers alike an authentic, professional fluid head: The Cine DSLR is ideal for state-of-the-art digital single-lens reflex cameras with HD video function. The payload range of 1 to 11 lbs (0.5 to 5 kg) allows very lightweight camera set-ups as well as work with heavier lenses or accessories. A counterbalance in ten steps as well as three vertical and horizontal grades of drag (+0) allow for professional operation.

"If a video-enabled DSLR is being used for filming, precise panning and tilting are only possible with fluid heads equipped with a corresponding tilt range. damping system. The Cine DSLR is lightweight, compact, and easy to transport. It has a robust metal housing that dependably protects it from exterior influences. The Cine DSLR comes with a special camera plate with an anti-twist retainer for HD DSLR cameras.

DAMPING

Sachtler's Cine DSLR provides for clean horizontal and vertical pans. The fluid head features the multiple award-winning technology of the big Sachtler heads: The three horizontal and vertical adjustable grades of drag (+0) are based on the patented Sachtler damping system.

Thanks to the special Sachtler lubricated oil damping, filming is also possible in extreme temperature ranges, as the damping is not negatively influenced by them.

COUNTERBALANCE / SPEEDBALANCE

Sachtler fluid heads operate with reliable switching to desired settings, so camera setups can be quickly balanced. While adjustable systems without firm setting levels often require time-wasting trial-and-error adjustment, the Sachtler counterbalance is achieved immediately.

Also, most Sachtler heads are equipped with the innovative Speedbalance technology, which guarantees fast and fine adjustment.
