Taking off with artemis

Martin Lippert, an operator from Germany, captured some offbeat and spectacular images on Mallorca. For the movie “The Swarm – Attack of the Killer Bees,“ he worked with the Sachtler artemis Cine HD camera stabilizer system, which opens up new camera perspectives.

EXCELLENT POWER OF MOVEMENT
With an artemis system there are hardly any limits set for the operator. Shooting is possible on rough terrain – such as in water or on stairs. You can accompany an actor every step up close, no matter where he or she goes.

After several training courses, the skilled carpenter has become a professional in dealing with the camera stabilizer system.
In 2009 he was nominated by the German Television Awards, together with Fritz Seeman, for the movie “Der Bibelcode“ (“The Bible Code”) in the category “Best Camera.“
