What’s new at IBC 2008?

The spark of life at all tradeshows is the new products offering and the people on site. Last year, the multifunctional camera support tool, SOOM was introduced at IBC 2007. This year, the centre of attention at the Sachtler Booth 9.C40 will be exchanging experiences. So we hope you will drop in to chat with our product managers and users while you get your hands on the revolutionary SOOM as well as the artemis camera stabilizing system and other groundbreaking new products. The new artemis was shown at NAB 2008 and will now also be presented in Europe. To commemorate the close of our 50-year Sachtler anniversary, we have a small but handy gift waiting for you at our booth. It’s the new Carrying Handle for Sachtler tripods. Cameraman Jürgen Killenberger travelled alone throughout Africa with the lightweight and multifunctional tool. He documented the construction of a solar plant in a village in Senegal, which now is no longer without electricity. SOOM passed this difficult practical test.
