What do the carbon upgrade for the new artemis ACT 2 spring arm and a Formula One racing car have in common? Their "drivers" love speed and treasure lightweight materials. Therefore it seemed logical for Sachtler developers to work with carbon fibre. After extensive testing the worldwide first carbon fiber upgrade for the ACT 2 spring arm has now reached production stage.

35°C, blue sky and the smell of lavender, these were the basic conditions that Hugo Boss selected for its summer season 2008 "campaign shoot". Cameraman Sebastian Georgi used the SOOM, which came directly from production, for his experimental photographs: the first test under live-conditions for the multifunctional camera support tool.

THE CURRENT HEAD
50 years ago Leonhard Jaumann worked as a student trainee alongside Wendelin Sachtler and discussed with him, over cups of coffee, new product ideas. Today Leonhard Jaumann still develops products for "S", now with the aid of a computer and an international team.
